Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos)
Large eagle that breeds on rocks or trees in remote areas. Although it has a large range and is not threatened according to IUCN, it is an emblematic species and plays very important ecological role. It is considered a non-scrupulous raptor that threatens hares, partridges and tortoises most of which are beloved by local people. That is why it is a challenge to protect it and highlight its importance for the ecosystems through changing the attitude of local people.
